This was an undecorated Accurail kit which I redetailed according to a Jay Williams photo of car 34833. The main changes are the elimination of the kit's fishbelly center sill and the creation of a channel end sill. Most of the lettering is from Champ BRH-37, but I replaced some parts (notably the end reporting marks and numbers which are Clover House "Octic Medium" transfers.) Aluminum-painted roofs appeared on some FGE cars during the 1940s and were common by 1954.
