From Burl:

Tennessee Central had 16 cars like this. They were numbered 200-215. Originally used in coal service, they were shopped in 1965 in Nashville
where they had an extension added & were put into woodchip service. When TC went bankrupt, L&N took over the lease on 5 of them.

I used an Athearn quad hopper for the carbody. I shaved off all the ladders, grabs, steps & pretty much all the B-end details. I added formed-wire steps & grabs. I bent my own cut levers from 0.010" wire. I replaced the end platform, brakewheel/housing & ladders with parts from an InterMountain 1937 AAR boxcar kit.

The extension & some of the end bracing is cast in urethane resin. I printed the decals myself with an ALPS printer. I also offer these for sale. The cost for the resin parts & decals is $10 per car (+ $2 shipping). I'll also be doing the L&N decals soon. Burl can be emailed via this link.
