NEW HAVEN MODELERS GATHERING
June 23, 2007 - 9:00 AM - ~5:00 PM
Crowne Plaza in Cromwell, CT (100 Berlin Road - (860) 635-2000, right off exit 21 on I-91 between Hartford and New Haven) $20 per person to cover the room and the projector.
The agenda is roughly as follows:
-- Begin at 9:00 AM
-- Two clinics before lunch
-- Two clinics after lunch
-- There may be time for a slide show
-- The lunch break will be one hour
-- Things will end at 5:00 PM and anyone who wants can adjourn for a group dinner somewhere.
The tentative list of clinics is:
- Building Passenger Train Consists - Jim Fellows
- The New Haven Freight Car Fleet of the 1940s and 1950s - Prototypes and Models - Ted Culotta
- “New Havenizing” the Branchline Coach (particularly the underframe) - Ted Culotta
- Converting the Bachmann 2-6-0 to a NH K-1b/d - John Pryke
Bringing models for display and discussion is highly encouraged. The idea of this gathering is to promote ideas and modeling of the NH.
Speedwitch Media and possibly others will be selling for anyone interested.
